During this journey, which began in 2004, Dos Hemisferios uncovered the paradox of producing Ecuadorian wine. It has been a voyage of unique scents and flavours that reveals the enigma of crafting wines from our own land.

The Dos Hemisferios vineyard is situated in San Miguel del Morro, Playas, on the coast of Ecuador. This area is distinguished by its sunny days, mild nights, chalky soils, and a constant sea breeze. We challenged the notion that, at the equator, we lacked the ideal conditions for wine production, a belief that wine could only be made in countries with four distinct seasons and specific latitudes.
